Relaxing!

Good idea there Ted. It's a bit repetitive and very basic, but I feel that you could make this tune quite a trip if you decide to take it to the next level!

Keep making music and experimenting, alright?

Also, I love your icon! hahahahahahaha :D

8/10 and I 5'd it just because I can! ^^

DJeverlast responds:

thanks mate, i normally end up making these things on a wim in a few hours so i dont pay attention to such detail but i shall be revisiting this tune to make it better just for you :3
would you mind maybe gettin me out to your friends i dont have many listeners and i think i would do better with a broader variety of criticism and advice.
this tune as with my others sseems very basic but was quite hard to make because the drums for one were hash to make and the piano kept on echoing so much i had about 5 notes fr every 1

Good cover bro ;)

Very nice. AMERICA--specifically Texas-- REPRESENT IN THE DANCE REALM! haha :D
Pretty clear and crisp man, I approve of the overall feel.

Except.. "And then Basshunter stole it without permission in 2006". Nah Jonas didn't steal it from Daddy DJ, they allowed him to use it. I asked them a few years ago and Daddy DJ confirmed it. :)

Enjoy your 10/10 and 5 because I can! :)

Blizzaine responds:

Thats really weird because it was even on VH1 on some show about top 100 music scandals or some shit.

But still, DJ S3RL had the melody, AND permission from Daddy DJ, yeeeeeeeears before Basshunter did.

Yay Xmas Music :D

I love this song during Xmas time! :)

UnrealReno responds:

Almost a whole year left to wait :(
Thanks for the comment ^^

Hmm..

This sounds like it's having an issue finding a solid genre. It could be a dance song I guess with an offbeat? Or perhaps DnB with some crazy movement? Whatever.. Techno it is.

I'm listening to this on my Sennheiser headphones at the moment and I'm hearing a lot of mastering issues going on.. The bass sounds very muffled and the rhythm is a bit strange. I think it would have been sweet if you make the notes shorter to get the intended rhythm.

The lead synth is extremely generic sounding. There are only a few parts in it's entirety and it becomes stale pretty fast. I'd was relived when finally something new finally came in at 1:34~. There's only one automation (A cutoff or bandpass frequency controller?) from what I can hear that goes in and out at strange intervals are weird times. The cymbal comes in strangely and chaotically in a bad way. The synth is overpowering at times -- especially towards the end. The very very end is so loud and it's very abrupt. On a positive note, I did like some of the progressions though, particular ~1:24 and ~2:17.

To further complete your tracks, I'd recommend obtaining Vengeance Essential Club Sounds Volumes 1, 2, and 3.

6/10 and I gave you a 5/5 just because it's what I do.

Keep making music! To be honest though, I'm baffled on how you made top 5, but it's whatever. If you polished this one up a lot, then it could be a great tune.

Enjoy the views!

I actually went and mastered this after it got 3k views so I can't update it anymore.
The kick is from VEC 3.

As I said below this was mostly an exercise in automation, I didn't expect this to become popular.

Mmm Energy :)

I love it. Mastering could use some work, but hey it's not stopping me from dancing! ;D

SubtleForces responds:

thanks :D

Ye, i sux0rs at mastering ;(

What is this from?

What track is this from? My friend and I have a project in the making that sounds unusually similar to it..

DanceNation responds:

its tune up's "ride on time"

=o!

Pretty cool tune going on.. spice it up a lot and you might be happy with the response! :D

This would be 39x better with vocals! ^^

Keep making the tunes, alright man? :)

Chris

SASKID responds:

Meh :/ i have a small mixing desk with a microphone. So i could, but i dont like to sing and i cant anyway :P

I might consider putting some vocals down and getting someone to sing it though.

Thanks Chris

yay happypants ^^

This gives off the same mood to me as one of the tracks i'm currently working on. "Party Hard".

It could be mastered a bit better for maximum ranges and such and louder.. but I like where you're going with this man! Keep making tunes alright? You have tons of potential! :)

9/10 and 5'd!

Chris

momboom1 responds:

Thanks :D. When you finish your song send it to me and i'll check it out. Thanks for the kind words.

Nice tune!

Nothing too original going on here.. I really like the lyrics that you added though. :D Very clean as usual. Just sounds like a commercial dance song to be honest.

The percussion added at 1:11 during the 3 beat change reminded me of my band days from when I was younger, hehe. For that nostalgia, I give you 10/10 sir. :)

Keep the tunes comin' Eirik!
Chris

SkyMarshall responds:

Nice and honest. I like it man. Thanks =)

Very clean sounding remix!

It's very clean and mastered pretty well.. Sounds like generic dance though. This one seems a bit lacking without any vocals though..

9/10 and 5 just because. ^^
Keep up the dance tracks, ok? Looking forward to some original ones! :)

Chris

Dfarce responds:

Thanks, I've been in sort of a slump for the past year or so.
Lots of catchy melodies but none that developed into a song.

Hopefully that changes, thanks for listening!

Playing with Possibility. Lithorph is my pupil. /win
